Stills from Looking at You Looking at Them by Marine Bléhaut — Discover the story behind these AI women portraits here
What does it mean to tell a story in an age when artificial intelligence begins to blur distinctions between reality, memory, and imagination? In Dark Tales, artist V.Ruins ventures into this question, creating a new narrative universe where folklore, the occult, and existential inquiry intertwine with digital storytelling.
Meet Marine Bléhaut, whose work is a combination of archival cinema and artificial intelligence (AI). Deeply fascinated by the concept of collective memory and the manipulation of that (nationally and intentionally), Bléhaut harnesses AI to interrogate thoughts, remembrance, identity, and empathy through very intimate works.
Explore Sasha Katz’s solo exhibition at Galerie Data, Paris (Apr 24–May 10, 2025), where 3D‑modeled, photoreal yet uncanny female figures probe the edge of reality. Drawing on Vrubel’s mysticism, Slavic folklore and Edo dragon tattoos, Katz conjures haunting digital portraits that blur illusion and authenticity. Curated by Élisabeth Karolyi; with guest works by Khnopff, Shlyakhovaya & Ganbrood.
OONA is an artist whose work interrogates identity, gender, symbolism and value (within crypto context), specifically exploring how the history of art, cryptocurrency culture and societal perceptions come together in current times. In her latest project historical symbols are reappropriated and market dynamics are shown and evaluated live.
We're entering a new dawn where machines don’t just assist in art-making — they shape their own creative identities. Botto, a decentralized AI artist shaped by collective voting, and Keke, a fully autonomous creator, represent two distinct approaches to computational creativity. This article gives a comparative analysis of how they operate.
0xG is a creator whose practice lingers between technical innovation and conceptual art. With a focus on programmable, dynamic projects that respond to and interact with their collectors, they are redefining how the blockchain can be put to work, what art can be in this liminal space and how digital tokens can behave.
